Journey to Magdalena Bay - A true ecological wonder
your tour begins with getting picked up in either La Paz or La Ventana. From there we will drive North along a scenic desert highway for approximately 2 hours until we arrive in the small coastal town of Puerto Chale.
Upon arriving in Puerto Chale we will jump on board our locally operated boat and head out into Southern Magdalena Bay to experience one of the greatest human/whale interactions on the planet.
The Grey Whales that gather here have developed an incredible behavior... they actually approach our boats, sometimes surrounding us and the best part is they are actually SEEKING a physical interaction. Yup, thats right, this is the tour where you can pet a wild whale.

This is a snorkeling and freediving experience.
Our tour begins in La Ventana where we will board the boat and head out to explore the beautiful Sea Of Cortez in search of marine life. Cerralvo Island is the southern most island in the Sea Of Cortez, making the surrounding waters an ideal stopping point for a large variety of pelagic species from the pacific.
In addition to our open water wildlife encounters we will also get the chance to snorkel some of the beautiful reefs that encircle the island and enjoy a lunch break on one of its secluded beaches. During this whole experience we will be capturing beautiful aerial and underwater videos of your adventure.
When working with wildlife nothing is guaranteed and our top priority is to ensure respectful encounters that do not negatively impact the animals.
Tour Location: Puerto Chale (Magdalena Bay)
Pick up spots: -La Ventana (5:15AM)
-La Paz (6AM)
End: La Paz / La Ventana
Tour duration: 8 hours (including drive time)
- Transportation to and from Puerto Chale.

(we will never force people to tip but if we have a great time its customary to give the captains about 100 pesos per person)

Please Note: minimum of 3 guests required to run trip. Maximum 4 people. If you are traveling alone we can match you with a group.
Groups larger than 4 people are possible but will require different transportation and may affect price.
